Alzheimer.tv Launching

September 21st, 2015
A world first that will make a significant contribution towards furthering research into Alzheimer’s disease
As part of the World Alzheimer’s Day on September 21st, Dr Ziad Nasreddine, of the MoCA Clinic and Institute, has formally launched Alzheimer.tv, a web TV channel and website entirely dedicated to the broadcasting of credible scientific information on Alzheimer disease.

  • Description about the disease
  • Learn how the disease affects a person with the condition. What the changes are. How you can help to preserve their independence, so that they have a good quality of life.
  • Information about new treatments that are offered for people who suffer from alzheimer disease.
  • Driving a car, doctor’s role, advise on how to deal with the behaviour, etc.
  • Legal advice, on how to prepare by knowing the laws and our rights.
  • Resources in your area for information.
  • Questions/Answers

In 2009, our center offered information meetings for families that had members with newly diagnosed alzheimer’s disease.
